Ran the car for the first time at the weekend and I have just stripped the car down to prepare it for the coming weekend race. I cleaned the outside of the car etc to get the loose dirt off it and then removed the gearbox and I was surprised to find dirt had gotten into the gearbox it has ruined the top shaft as there is chips out of the gear and out of the idle gear too. I have run my carpet car on the same track on no problem car was not taken apart at the meeting so I have no idea what's happened only thing I can see is the diff can move left and right so wondering if this has allowed dirt to get in somehow?? Any one else found this ???? When I got the car new the box was unsealed I contacted the shop and I was told it was because the wrong gearbox had been included with some of the first batch??? Serial number sn641301 Thanks |

Hello I made a lot test on dirt and never had problem like you. Maybe some error when you closet it? I use grease on gears and no problem. |
