Post subject: | Question about "Alu Suspension Block's on M18PRO |
Hi, I just build a M18Pro, What a fun little car to play with in the winter ![]() Last timeI was at training I got T-boned by an 1:10 TC ![]() The only thing that broke on my car was a suspension block. So now I can see that you can get a new one in alu. But what are the advantages and disadvantages when fitting these on the car... What about the weight difference ?? By the way what gearing would you recommend for my setup ?, right now I am running at 18/42. (My motor isn't even hot after about 10min driving) My setup is: Ezrun 5200Kv Bl motor. Ezrun 18A ESC. Hitec 5245MG servo. 2S 1200mAh LiPo. One-way diff. Alu drive shafts. Foam tires. |

Goods: Strong and Durable. Bads: Can transfer the damage to a more expensive part to replace. The bearings in the hub can wear out faster since the aluminum transfers the road vibration to the bearings versus the plastic which absorbs it. |
