Moved to the M18T section versus NT. I can run without additive on mine which is the 42/47 fronts with I think the 40 rears? Black springs up front with silver in rear. Two hole piston with 6o in front and 50 in rear for oil. This is with M18T foams, not the larger M18MT foams. Given, I can go faster with traction compound, but it works pretty well without. Also, the carpet has compound on it from so many people using it, so my situation may be of very little help if the carpet has never had compound on it. Are you using a lipo or nimh? Place as much weight towards the rear of the car as you can. Tighten up the front diff stiffer than the rear. Give the rear more toe in, and try to get around 0 for front. Play with swaybars and thicknesses as well. With power oversteer, possibly a thicker swaybar in rear (to keep the rear end level under power? You can run Mini Pins, but they will wear out quickly, and you will scrub alot of speed because of too much traction. You also can potentially traction roll easily with them with their increased traction and larger size. |
