I have been runing on af carpet track too, only difference is that our track is that our is made in dirt first and then carpeted, so it feels almost like a dirt track, but I had the same problem with mine that it would bottom out on the big jumps and be uot of controll if I missed the landing slope. try to go with 4 holes pistons and 1500 in the rear and 2000 wt in the front. this made the landings more stabel for me |

After testing the new setup, I found that the fuel tubing created a bit too much of a rebound effect when they bottom out (just before the chassis slaps), so wheelies on landing were pretty much unavoidable. I ran harder shock oil as well, but that didn't seem to work too well. I found that running bigger wheels (M18MT Foams trued to 58mm) solved the chassis slap but generated a few handling issues with the raised ride height. I'm going to trial the bigger wheels with much heavier shock oil as I'm sure that the handling will be a bit better then. |
