Here are some photos I've taken. This is the 9t cracked pinion This is a new 11t pinion. I'm getting a new set tomorrow. Hopefully they are ok. Also, anyone knows any other pinions (non Xray ones) that I can use. |

Hello heliblur, Did You get Your M18MT from Sam's Hobby Link?? If You could meet with Sam, asked him to make a groove at the motor shaft so that the set screw could seat properly without overtightening the plastic pinion.. |

Actually my truck was bought online from RCXray by my friend in the US. I'm going to get the pinion set from Sam and notch the motor shaft as you suggested. I have a Dremel set that should be able to do the job. Thanks. Forgot to mention that I didnt really had to tighten too much for the pinion to give way though. The set screw started threading into the pinion then just kept going and going without getting tight. |
