I got an 2250 mah (10.5 x 3.4 x 1.7 cm) in my M18Pro but that is MAX what you can have It will only fit if you loosen the front plastic thing just a little so it can flex a little and because of that the upper battery holder is gone to be 2-3mm short. I dont run with this battery enymore because its to tight fit. its absolutley MAX. 1500-1800 battery will probobly fit good. Just make shore its less then 10.5 x 3.4 x 1.7 cm |

If that battery alphaaut chose does turn out to be too long for the M18T Pro, the good thing is there is lots of room forward so you can always strap or velcro that battery in without it hitting anything. The M18 Pro though you really have to be careful as there is just enough room to fit a 6cell 2/3A pack. I know the larger Mah gives lots o' lots of runtime. But if you are planning to race, one benefit of the smaller mah packs is they are shorter allowing you to place some of your electronics on the battery side for a lower cg and more balanced car. |

I tried an 2100 Kokam 30C in the M18 Pro this one could only be secured with tape. On the M18T Pro I use the long stands for the Battery on forward position too, because the original mount doesn't fit this lipo. I just need to make a longer strap to secure the battery. I would prefer a bit more room to front and rear, so that i can use some urethane to save the Lipo, because the "little" Lipos are not available with hard-cases like the ones for the T2 for example... |
