Stock config - dropping speed

Hey

I'm a little in doubt:

Have the stock M18, with stock motor with 17 pinion and stock esc.

I have som really good batteries with a lot of power, 5 cells.

The car runs REALLY fast for 1 minute, then drops and drops in speed.

Could it be:
Batteries failing (I have three packs, same results)
Motor dead and overheating
ESC dead or getting too hot
Plugs/Wires too small and overheating

Have you tried 2nd hand/old replacement items for each part you list to see if you can narrow it down? I agree with Roelof, I would start with replacing the motor to see if thats it..

try to discharge accus on charger/discharger which can measure capacity and internal resistance with 10A discharge current, if it can draw graf, it may help too..
