I have had bad luck with the LRP and Reedy motors personally with smoking within the first night of use at what I thought where conservative gear ratios. I plan on trying Cobalt's next. I hate the way brushless Mambas feel in the sedan. The Low end inst smooth/predictable. Meanwhile, I keep smoking brushed. |

Its hard for me to recommend from personal experience any ni-mh since I went Lipo a few years back, and haven't looked back. If your running against insane brushless on 1/10th size tracks, probably 6-cell. If your running on smaller tracks with medium kv brushless. 5 cell would work. (IMOHO). |
