Post subject: | M18 PRO basic setup questions |
I just bought the m18 pro and finish building last night. I am a newbie in R/C and have some questions, hopefully i can get a clear explanation from this forum. - What does the different toe-in toe-out settings on the front and rear do? - Differential setting: what does it do if i use tighter or looser settings on the front or rear ball diff settings? I hope that somebody can help me in this matter. Thanks much |

_toe-in effects how the car tracks on straightaways and corners. The basic idea is more toe in keeps the car straighter, but creates more wheel scrub and reduces steering coming in and out of corners. You usually only want a minimal amount of toe-in in the front versus the rear. -A ball diff being tighter means that the differential action will be stiffer, so the front or rear wont as easily change the inside versus outside wheel speed. So in a word, it makes these (somewhat) the same idea as having toe-in. Usually, you want the front ball diff tighter than the rear. I would suggest looking over the . There are many items that can be cross referenced to having a similiar effect on the Pro. |
