I've tried the Atomic Titanium screw set and wasn't impressed... The screws are not the same length as the XRAY originals they should replace. They were nearly all shorter and I definately wouldn't use them in my M18 race car. Furthermore I had some problems finding suitable HEX wrenches in my collection of Hudy mm wrenches, so its probably Inch size. (Or very imprecise mm hex holes) |

Post subject: | tubular drive shafts |
Well, there are now ten carbon-fiber tubular drive shafts in service on our local race track and one in sunny California. They are all in as made condition after a few weeks of racing and some heavy duty horse-play. All of the prostocks at our local track that have one are in great shape. Fully satisfied racers so far... --- One local racer has run the shaft with a speed 300 and has not had a hint of trouble. The car has even been heavily walled and the shaft is keeping the wheels screaming! We'll keep you all posted. Scott |
