How are other m18s running on the track? Are you more powered than them?

So your chassis is chattering? Are you using traction compound? Have you tried the other tire choices? Have you raised your ride height?

I have tried both medium and soft rear tyres, I always run medium in front.

Raising the ride height makes it worse, I have tried pushing it to 2mm and it helps a little bit.

We are not allowed to use tyre additives.

My car specs:

M18 Pro 2mm ride height ( By downstops )
1 degree toe out front
2.5 toe in in rear
Xray Alu shafts
Xray Alu uprights
Xray Alu diffs front and rear
MPX Digi polo servo
Std. Springs with spacers up front.

Tekin mini rage 5.4 turned down to 75% power as max.

Try reducing the rear toe in to about 1 degree in, and make the fronts 0 or .5 degrees in (to help offset rears reduction).

Too much toe in can cause chatter your describing under certain conditions. Does anyone else pro do the same or better?

Sounds like you have so much horsepower and traction that the cars hopping. Does that sound right to you? So you need a way to get it to slide more.

Have you added CA to the outside portion/bead/wall of your tires? Try this upfront and see if you want to proceed with the rear.

gerner try to make the edge of the tire round, that did the trick on my car.
I think it would also help you, my theroy is that the outside edge edge of the tire folds in that 90´ on power corner on the track, also glue the out side of the tires helps.

get as much practice b4 the 4.feb at the race I´m not comming b4 because I´m getting my licens on the airbus a321 so I don´t have the time to practice :-(

Mini gave good suggestions. I think you have to rethink how you adjusted the alum diffs. You may adjusted them a bit too tight. Being a small track and technical, you need a bit more slippage on the diffs. You dont need posi-traction on the carpet.

I run a Tekins 8K w/6 cell 1400mah. And that is too much. Cutting down on the ESC. and loosening the diffs does help. Also w/the ESC set too high the drive shaft between the frt & rr diffs starts to wobble, giving out a vibration noise that is audible. Adjusting the diff does take a bit of time, enough slippage so you don't loose the power from the wheels to the ground.
