I have done that before, but luckily only one, so it was still usuable. 3 balls though is past the safe point. I would wait. You need ( 8 ) 1.58mm (1/16th" balls work fine) The Xray part numbers are: (I would go for the carbide version personally since they are smaller and still require the same pressure as the larger balls) FYI: You should replace all the balls at once, so throw your old ones out so there is no mistake. |

Gosh, those axial bearing balls are so easy to drop! By the way, is there an aluminum tie rod upgrade? Along with the ball ends that have the pivot balls that the screws go through on the end (whatever that assembly is called)? I broke the linkage that goes from the top deck to the servo horn ![]() Oh, and let me run one more trouble by ya: on the rear end, when I turn one wheel, the other one turns the same way. So basically I have no diff action. But, I noticed I am missing a washer from one side of the diff, so I figure that's it. But I figure it could also could be my lack of axial bearing balls? Haven't been able to test either theory. Is it both of these things? Thanks for the help! Miles |

Oh, I'm not sure if xray sells those separately. If someone knows, please pipe in. The closest I could find was: |
