I have used the hs81 mg in all my micro cars and it´s a very good servo. in the nt18 and(t) the hs85bb is maby a better choice becaus it got bearings and can better handel the vibrations from the engine. If you want better and faster servos you can go with the multiplex tiny mg or pole but they are a littel more expensive. no matter what servo you chose you should always use the servo saver! |

Hi, the HS81 has centering problems. Kant76, I believe you are lucky, or don't notice it, because that is a known fault of the 81. On an unrelated note, what is the difference between the 81/85 and 56/65? |

Servos: HS-81 Plastic Gears HS-81 MG Metal Gears HS-85 MG Metal gears HS-85 MG/BB Metal gears w/Ball bearing output You have the choice. I like the 85 MG/BB for the steering. Movement is smoother, and its HS/HT( hi-speed/Hi-torque). Other ones 56/65 They are smaller in length, about a 1/4 inch. And lower in torque. Specs are under Hitec websight, Go there for more info on servos. |
