Our local indoor carpet track is closing. So it sounds like we might have to begin racing at a indoor asphalt track. Any pointers? Other than the bottom of our chassis getting ripped to shreds (need to buy some contact paper before starting). Would we be better off with rubbers versus foams? Here is the track we are thinking about: Half our guys only like to do carpet jumps with 1/18th offroad cars. So I don't know what do do to appease them on this to keep attending at the new place. All I could thing off would be making very small angle jumps with landings. With micro sedan, it might give me a chance to finally try out a one-way. |

I race onroad on asphalt during the summer at our local 1/18 track. I would choose foam any day over rubber tiers, no question at all. on asphalt I run the d compound front and a compound rear. bottom plate actualy dont gets that messed up, have been using the same carbon bottom for 2 years now and it is still going strong. as for the off road guys you can make jumps for ply wood and carry them out on the track. just make suge that they are big enoug so that the car can land, at a an angel so they donĀ“t land flat at the asphalt. dont be affraid to make big steep jumps, the m18t can handel it with out priblems. |
