Post subject: | Mamba 8000 and the X-ray m18t |
Hello, I have a X-ray M18 T with a Mamba 8000 on 6 cells. The power in the car is super, but it is to much voor the differtieel.... After a few minutes the rear diff is run down.. The first 2 meters are heavy voor the diff. I have also a Mamba 5400. Is this a better alternatief for the M18? Maybe on 5 cells? I can compaire the 5400 on 5 cells with the X-ray power pack... Thanks, Msh |

I have a friend using a 8K motor in a m18t with a 2 cell Lipo. His diffs were loose at first, but after he broke them in and tightened them down , he had no problems other than his spur. Can I suggest gluing the diff "D" rings to the outdrive sides to keep them from shifting? If you discover it is your spur, I would look at the . If gluing the D rings down doesnt help on your differentials, then look into the But yea, if your doing an off-road machine, you would want a lower KV. If your after a insane speed pavement pounder, 8kv is more appropriate. |

Heee Mini-me, Thanks for the respons! Okay, i would say in the first place loosen the differential. But I must thightened down. The Spur option is good! Maybe the 5400 is not so a bad idea... ![]() Mish |
