Q: what mamba system vould you rekommen for the m18t? I´m looking for just a littel more power than the graupner speed 300 6v motot. I have looked at the 4200 5400 and the 6800. i´m gona run it on 7.2 v nimh cells so i dont destroy the balance rh/lh in the car. I´s gona be used for competition racing, and I don´t want too much power. just a littel more than the graupner give. |

Hi, I have the 5400 and the 6800! On our small carpet indoor track I prefer the 5400, much more torque than the original XRAY Motor! Runtimes ~ 40min with 7,2 1800mAh Poly-Quest LiPo (is not a high speed track), lap times ~ 8 seconds! For bashing the 6800 is the better choice! greetz 4ever |

I have the 6800 and its totally mad - really fast but not entirely controllable. For flexibility I'd say go with the 6800 and run it with 5 cells if you want less madness on the track, then 6 cells for bashing. Best of both worlds that way ![]() gh. |

I've got the Mamba 25 myself, but I understand the Quark is pretty good - less cogging than the Mamba out of the box, but not as configurable as the Mamba. gh. |
