Mario, if you feel the suspension by hand you can feel it is somewhat directer and smoother with this setup as if the play on the pivot balls and some flex in the upper suspension arm has a negative influence. As you know there is a brand on the market selling shocktowers for this setup. I had to change the springs to stiffer ones because I had to much roll, I do not know how far you did go with testing.. By replacing the motor to above the shaft and the batteries to the rear it did give better performance. End of all with adjustable caster and camber it did give a better car. Changing these parameters is very noticeable and more wanted by the average racer. By the way, we are looking at the Nanda which is crap out of the box. But the adjustable upper arms from this car could be the way for Xray to better the M18. |
