Reverse is alowed.
I did solve the reverse problem, wrong setting speed controler.

Can anyone give me some advice on gearing the m18. We are running on a carpettrack, length of lap about 45 meters with a straith of about 10 meters. the rest of the track is quit twisty. I am running with 5 cells and a stock 180 motor. Last evening i was running 16 / 36, but the motor get very hot. Please help! Here is a picture of the track. |

We run almost the same space of track and I use 15/36. Using a coolingclamp will do the trick to coll down the motor. |

I am using a coolingclamp. I also noticed that after a while, when the motor was hot, engaging reverse became very difficult. |

Hot motors is a standard issue, nothing to worry about... You can ad a small 5v cooling fan from a notebook or videcard and power it by the 3rd channel of your receiver. |

Going from forward to reverse will heat up the motor even more. Most tracks illegalize running in reverse when racing (hitting other cars when backing up)? Is yours allowing it because of the lack of marshalls? |
