Hello This is Zack's Dad, and as i do all of the set-ups on Zacks trucks , [with a lot of help from my good friend Dean ] , I would be happy to share our set-ups with everyone. Front shocks - Xray aluminum , 70 wt. oil Rear shocks - Xray aluminum 40 wt. oil mounting positions same on both - top center , bottom outer front toe - 1/2 degree toe-in rear toe stock with stock tie-rods Xray aluminum steering blocks front Xray aluminum drive shafts front and rear sway bar front only motor and speed control - Tekin Mini Rage 5.4 KV brushless system Tires - Duratrax monster street tires, Front sidewalls glued Batteries - Team Scream 6-cell matched IB 1400's I think that about covers it , I'll be happy to answer any questions if I can help out. Regards, Jim and Zack Barry |

Hello shock springs used were blue assoc. foam compounds were hard fronts, purple/orange , soft rear gray or magenta Trued to 46mm [ made my own wheels by cutting the ribs off Xray ones and gluing 12/th scale donuts on them. shock pistons were 2 hole front and rear ride height was lowered using limiters on pistons we are currently running same rear toe, however we will be experimenting with this in Sept when the indoor carpet season starts up again The track was a very tight one , with very tight turns , multiple whoops and tall jumps Traction compound was definately used [paragon ] hope this answers all your questions Regards, Jim and Zack |

We use the extra shock pistons [ I believe they are 1 mm thick ] , carefully snip away the outer edge making them as narrow as possible so that they don't block oil flow through piston holes. Jim |

Hello As for shock springs , we are now using the Xray NT18T springs , Part # 388192 The foam compounds refer to the type of foam donuts that we made by glueing them to Xray wheels , then truing down to size [45-46 mm ]. The fronts are a purple orange combination , with the outer sidewall being harder compound than the inside [ dual compound ] . The rear foams that we run are of a softer compound [ magenta ] . After much testing of different tire compounds this is the best combination that we have found for running on Ozite carpet track. |
