Post subject: | LOSI Mini LST Receiver in M18MT |
Has anyone used a Mini LST receiver when building their M18MT ? I bought the power pack pro version of the kit with servo, battery and esc. I want to run my m18mt from the same transmitter as my Mini LST so I bought a new Mini LST receiver. It's a 27mhz synthesised receiver (no crystals required as it gives you 6 channels to choose from). It receives the signal and functions but the servo gets red hot. It also behaves erratically. I'm running it with the supplied xray motor, battery and esc. The esc sets up and works OK and the car starts, stops and reverses (although it goes a bit to quickly from forward to reverse for my liking - I fear shredded spur gears will be a problem in the near future). But has anyone else used this combo and had the same problems ? Any suggestions as to why the servo may be getting so hot and so quickly (almost too hot to touch) ? It is not hindered its action or movement but it does seem to be making a lot of noise (more than most servos - I have a Savage as well as a Mini LST). Any suggestions welcomed. Thanks Pete |

Have you tested another receiver just to see if something else isn't wrong? Your problem may or may not be related to . You will have to contact the appropriate manufacturer for the specifics on that radio. |
