Post subject: | XRAY graphite chassis shorter than plastic? |
Yesterday i bought a graphite XRAY chassis (brand new, in the bag conversion kit) and i noticed when i went to put my body back on after assembly, the front posts were a few mm behind the holes left from when the body was on the stock chassis...also, the antenna hole was a few mm forward. So, comparing the old plastic chassis side by side vs. the graphite chassis, and also atop each other, if i line up the back holes on the new chassis vs. the back holes on the old chassis, the front holes on the new chassis are a few mm behind the front holes on the old plastic chassis. What's up with that? it's shorter somewhere in the middle. |

Which kit is this you are referring to? I converted my M18T to graphite and everything fit perfectly? Perhaps just check and verify that you have the towers mounted in the proper holes on the top deck? |
