Hey all. I have an XRay M18 LE (Silver) on its way to me. I should get it today or tomorrow. I will be running a mamba Comp-X for the esc/motor and I have a HS 81MG servo for it. I am wondering what I should watch for on the build or any mods I should make right away. It will be mostly used for speed runs and every so often at a local 1/18th scale on road track. I have the castle link to tone the mamba down for the track. I decited to get this after my build up on my NT18. One sweet car...so I "needed" the electric version thanks! |

I would suggest either the or . The mamba puts out a tremendous amount of torque at startup, and the ball diffs allow a tiny bit of slip in the drivetrain. |

Depends on how tight your track is for a front one way. One ways work on higher speed tracks where you can slightly get off the throttle to get around a corner versus having to brake. They are harder on the drivetrain though, so especially with a mamba, you will want the upfront. Yes, the ball diffs will work in the nt18. |
