I will take a stab at this. I know that the 300 and 370 motor fits properly, I dont know about anything else though since I havent tryed any other. Mike |

I know the alu motor mount is drilled for 300's, but II was looking for brand names. For example, the Mamba systems work, or the Tekin systems work etc... |

I have the alu motor mount from Xray and the Mamba 6800. The fit is not quite right and I did not want to have to drill/elongate the holes - the mount is too nice to carve it up in any way. I put each screw in only enough to grab initially and then tightened them down a turn each alternately until they were both fully seated. It worked OK - probably did a little scouring on eiher the screws or the mounts, but nothing serious. Hope this helps. |

Here is my thought, with the stock motor (300/370) and 6 cells I believe it is plenty fast. granit I only run on a tiny track in my back yard, a 16'X20' figure 8, But I am also geared with smallest pinion I got. On a 45X60 track I might get a bit board and want something faster, but I dont think I will ever get to out of hand. Mike |

You will probably want to invest in the if you plan to run a mamba. |
