hi,

i mostly use my m18t pro for street "racing" just for fun. i like to drive fast - so i do not drive on tracks or something like that.

now i would like to know, what is the best setup for the dampers, to hold the car straight and give a good damping when running fast.
at the moment i use the stock oil, stock springs and the "things inside with two holes". i have the feeling, that the dampers reackt quite slow, which doesn't mean, this is bad.

i think i should bring the m18t a little down. i have read about "droop spacers", but what do i use as droop spacer?

should the dampers be more soft or hard, slow or fast reacting or, or, or?

it would be very nice, if you could help me, finding a good setup.

Yea, you want to slow the dampening down for street racing.

Use stiffer springs (blacks are stiffest).

I would say try at least double your Cst from kit to start. (so 2000+??).

Lower the ride height (take the spring spacers out).

Droop has different meaning to different people. But here I will say as rebound. You want to limit the shock shaft movement so the weight is transferred more quickly from front to rear and vice versa. Hence you need spacers inside the shock UNDER the piston. I would say start with maybe 1.5mm or use two extra o-rings of that size if you have any. Just dont use too big a spacer and block the pistons holes.

thanks for your answer, mini_me. this helps...

so the black springs are the stock springs from the m18t pro? at least mine are black.

with droop spacers i mean spacers inside the shocks, to lower the ride height of the car. so you say i should/could use o-rings. i will have to find some. are there other "things" i could use?
i read about people using 5mm front and 7mm rear. should the spacers be different in height (because the rear dampers are larger than in the front).

i would like to bring the car quite low, because i am using 1:10 tires.

Yes, you can use different size spacers.

Yes don't worry about it..Using different space sizers simultaneously is always possible.Stay blessed
