Today was my first try-out. I have never succeed to go staight. It going from one side of the track to another. It seems that everything is well assembled, free and right setting (~1 deg toe out on the front, rear diff is smooth but not sliping and front one is stiffer). In fact it seems that the neutral of the servo (the one from the Xray PowerPack) is not accurate, or is changing, i.e. : when horn coming from full right, the neutral is not the same than from the full left. Is this sound familiar or is the servo has a problem ? Is the root cause of my problems is somewher else ? |

Yep, me too, it does seem to be a problem with these metal gear servo's. Don't know whether its a dodgy batch on the first kits sent out, but the problem needs to be addressed. My servo has twitched from the day i got the kit, and now it will on full lock left or right will centre itself. I too have noticed that when you centre the servo to attach the horn it won't go on perfectly square, and so you have to trim the servo out on your tranny to get the truck to go straight. Dan. |
