Hi peeps, Thought i would post some piccys of my new ride, this thing is awesome! I hope you can make out the colour change paint i have used from the different angles i have taken. It's really difficult to get the effect on camera. I would like at some stage to bung a mamba brushless in this, how does this lil' truck stand up to the power? Dan. |

Truck looks good? Are you planning on racing the truck? I wonder what will happen to the nose when going over jumps? I installed the Mamba Brushless 5400 in mine. 5400 with a 13t pinion worked well for me. Since spur gears are a rare commodity, my spur gear was a little chewed up from the rocks. After I put the brushless, I drove the car for a total of 20-25 minutes of hard on the trottle racing and the car took everything I gave it except the spur went. |

As far as speeds, I'm using a 13t pinion and I'm getting between 25-30 if I had to guess with a SMC 1200 battery pack. The car really moves and it's impressive on the straightaway. One of my other buddies has an xray and he has the 6800 and it's absolutely insane. Not really driveable for track use unless you gear the heck out of it. But I really really like the car and I can't wait for my hop-ups to come in.. |
