Oil shocks and roll bars please! This is what this car is missing. I hate feeling like a rally car on the back straight at my local carpet track because there is no dampening (and the waves made by the 1/10th over time). Then loosing all my momentum so I wont traction roll into the corner. Oh and please offer a fullset of oil shocks (not a pair) with a few optional springs with them when you do release them. |

I will second the oil shocks...I search the web weekly watching and waiting for someone to produce them. I will be running the Mamba in mine this fall and would really appreciate more cornering stability. The chassis roll can be extreme on our carpet track. |

Cant speak for kb9kgy but our carpet Nelly is 1/10th ozite. So not only is it high speed turns for us, its also "wavy" from the 1/10th wear. In the back straight we can leave the ground momentarily going over these waves. In the corners, we sometimes have only the two outer wheels on the ground. Both of which could be helped >tremendously< with rollbars and oil shocks. |

Yea I agree, but you have to realize the expense in purchasing ozite. Especially for a track that big. They tried to flatten it out a few weeks ago, but it only helped us tiny cars a little. I havent made the one 18th as honestly, me hand bending one wouldnt be as precise as getting one made from a machine. |

Indeed you're right... And if you look at the M18's suspention it looks like there is a mounting place for a rollbar... Maybe this is coming as an hop-up in the future? I've seen a car that used it for mounting the 'shocks'. I guess that we'll have to wait what the future brings us ![]() Grtz |
