Most 1/18th size will. Is there a specific one you are looking at? 3 Cell might require shorter packs an you will have to jury rig extending the battery posts higher.

I didn't get an answer for soo long I wound up cutting the side lip off of the chassis with my dremel, smoothing it and securing my lipo with industrial grade velcro. easier in and out for the battery.

i am thinking about buying a m18t pro and i want to use a lipo for a brushless system.

it seems as if there is no information in the internet about the maximum size of the battery/lipo...

this forum seems to be the official xray forum and here is not a lot of traffic (like in most forums in the xray-area). therefore i wonder why this forum so extremly poor supported!? is the poor support the reason, why the asso rc18t is muuuuch more supported and spread in the internet?

anyway...

would someone be so kind to tell the maximum dimensions of a battery/lipo, which fits into a m18t pro?

thanks a lot!
dennis

To work on these cars you have to be a little bit inventive to sort things out.

The normal 2/3A cell is 17mm in diameter and 28mm long, a 6 cell pack is 102mm x 17mm x 28mm
If you can find a 2S or 3S lipo within these numbers you will have a direct fit, simple as it is.
If you know how to drill a hole and cut out a battery tray out of a piece of plastic, carbon or epoxy you can fit everything within the limits of the chassis.

You want a direct fit? LRP has hardcased LiPo packs in 2S and 3S in the size of a 6 cell NiMh pack.

finally someone who answers - thanks! :-)

but, as far as i have read, a normal 6 cell pack does not fit into the m180 pro. the m18t pro seems to be build for 5 cells in "normal" order or 6 cells in another order than a normal 6 cell.

the normal 6 pack order would look like: ||||||
the order for the m18t pro would look like: ===

if i follow your information, i would need a lipo with the dimensions of: 84 x 34 x 17mm (and these are the dimensions a rc dealer told me yesterday on the phone - he measured them).

i also found a german company, which claims to have lipos, which fit into the m18t pro. the lipo is a "7,4V 1900mAh 32C" with the dimensions of 87x32x19mm. but i feel that they are a little overpriced. i would have to pay more than for my 5200mAh 30C hardpacks for my e-revo.

i think it is very poor, that xray does not offer any helpful information and i start losing interest in an xray.

Yes, the non-Pro is standard using a 6 cell stickpak layout battery but there is room to move the small posts fitting a 6 cell side by side pack, the Pro is even made for such a layout. There are even drivers just using Velcro fitting their packs so they can create more room not using the posts and notches.

Be inventive and you can fit it all......
