No, I meant the plastic one with the "H" on it. I know there is a steel version of the spur gear. I haven't tried it so far.

Still, I'd like to keep stones and dirt OUT of my car. At least most of it. My main drive shaft has already been grinded down near the spur gear so that it's a lot thinner now. Stones get trapped between the battery pack/the chassis and the drive shaft and wear down the drive shaft. I can't run a full battery pack without trouble.

but became the Micro Body 1/18 NITRO MT #389762

& my dealer told me, that the Cadillac Body is no longer available

this NITRO Body is already cut out, unfortunately very generous

so I am also a little concerned, about stones getting jammed at the Spur Gear

Closing the gap between the chassis and the body helps a little, but it's not enough.

A well-designed lexan cover over the chassis and under the body would play the trick I'm sure. It could have holes for the steering rods, the antenna and the motor cooler and still keep dirt and stones (and snow) outside. To fix it to the (plastic) chassis you could drill holes through the side walls. Kyosho has such a one on their Mini Inferno ST. Come on Xray!
