Hello everybody,
I recently bought an M18 with an M18T power pack pro. While every description of the M18T power pack pro says it will fit both the graphite or the composite chassis of the m18 easily (provided I use an aluminum motor mount), I find this to be false.
The servo went right in, and the six cell inline battery pack could fit with a little shaving and no side posts, but the motor will never go on the composite chassis without cutting a larger hole for clearance, and the speed control (xmc300r) has a different bolt pattern than the composite chassis provides. So my question is, will a graphite chassis fit all this stuff, especially the speed control? There appears to be two different graphite chassis, the regular and the "Pro", do each of these have the same hole spacing for the ESC as my composite chassis?
composite chassis ESC hole spacing= 30mm
XMC300R hole spacing = 31.5mm
I guess I wanted to build this car all Xray to keep it simple and easy and have everything bolt up instead of getting out the tape. Any assistance would greatly be appreciated, thanks!
