Hello together, I have made a little X1 Facebook group wich I upload some Tips, Setups etc. In this post I will share all my "X1 Tips from the Group" X1 Tip Number # 1 - The Battery mount position: This is very simple in my mind. If you run on carped with low up to high grip (not ultra grip) or outdoor wich you have to use your brakes to generate steering please place your battery maximum rear sideways. This affects that the wight can move a lot from rear to the front. So you loose rear traction on brakes and get more steering. If you run outdoor on huge tracks you have to set you Battery in the lengh of you chassi (also on ultra grip to decrease traction roll). If you dont have to use your brake you get more direct feeling steering if your ride wight is allready on the front. Please let me know If you have some question about that or if you have an idea for the X1 Tip Number #2 Time after time I will fully include all the tips in this Threat. greetings Jan |

Hello Jan, I have noticed, in you setup sheet for ETC in Hrotovice you have used tamiya soft springs with soft oil if I am reading it correctly. What influence the oil viscosity has on handling? Thank you. |
