Post subject:  My experience with XRAY XB4

I have owned a Team Associated B6D, and I currently own a 2016 XRAY XB2. The fit and finish of the XRAY is much nicer. The parts go together with less sanding and less slop. However, it is more expensive, and the parts aren't as common. At the end of the day both buggies are more capable than I am.

If I were you I would suggest going the Team Associated route. Team Associated adopted everything (and more) in their B6.1 that caused me to drop the B6D for the XB2. Since the B6.1, both buggies have easy access to the differentials without having to take the whole rear end apart, which is very nice and convenient. Now, Team Associated's other platforms are updated and have parts commonality across them as well (XT6.1 and SC6.1). I'm sure the B64.1 isn't too far behind to pick up the last few items that it didn't already have since it is was the newest design until the .1's came out for the other platforms.

There are also some companies that have come out with conversions to turn the B64 into a 4WD Truggy too. I bet that will be a fun class. Right now the Tekno ET410 is the only factory race-grade kit for that class.
