I've started building an XB4'17 kit. The 361174 (graphite deck that braces from the front bulkhead to the steering posts) is shown (in the manual and in the exploded view) attaching to the front bulkhead using M3x10mm button head screws, and indeed these are the screws included in the kit. Unfortunately these screws thread into holes in the bulkhead that are only 6mm deep. The deck being 2mm thick, this means that the longest screw that fits is M3x8mm. Perhaps you don't get complaints about this because people just swap these M3x10mm screws for the M3x8mm screws that are provided to attach the deck to the steering posts. The longer M3x10mm screw goes into the steering posts just fine, in fact nicer because an 8mm screw gives just 3mm of threads into the post. Perhaps the screws were swapped in preparing the 2016 manual, when the change was made to connect the posts to the deck.
Overall the build is a pleasure so far. The quality of the molded parts, especially those bulkheads, is amazing. I'm looking forward to finishing the build and running the XB4 on turf and carpet.
