Hi, Are the 365114 Bevel Drive Gear 14T and 364935 Diff. Bevel Gear 35T suitable for carpet, or are they meant for low grip surface? Thinking about strenght, since the included gears are steel. I also see the team drivers are using steel when looking at setup sheets for carpet. I use 5.5-6.5 motors. I run at a rather small carpet indoor track and the car get some seriuos beating... I am VERY impressed regarding the strenght of the car, and have not broke a single part of the car yet... Knock on wood... Other manufactors are breaking parts, so the XRAY guys have made a good job making a very solid and good handling car:) |

Hello I recommend you to keep using kit gears. They are make for all surface special for carpet. This graphite gears are very good because they make drive train very light but you can use them only on super low traction. Keep using kit gears and you will be happy. |
