Finally got my activation email, so here I am! Let me start by saying that I only just got into RC cars a month ago. I bought a Traxxas VXL Slash for bashing and told myself I'd like a kit for track only; that's when I bought the 2017 XB4 kit. Being brand new, I went by my LHS recommendation for their indoor track. Unfortunately, I can't finish because one of the parts in my kit wasn't finished during the manufacturing process. One of the two servo saver pivot shafts wasn't threaded thus I'm unable to bolt down the steering assembly to the chassis. I haven't received a reply from Xray so I just ordered a pair of servo saver pivot shafts on ebay. I've got everything else done and installed and I have one more thing to figure out which is why I'm here - Is the recommended final drive for this vehicle 10-11? If so, I assume I should go with a 19T pinion for this car? I've got a 13.5T brushless, sensored 3400kv motor. |
