Hi guys
I have just purchased another new kit from the Xray team, as I do every year.

Is it me or are they going down hill with the quality?

I have used Xray for years now, got loads in my garage, recently I have noticed when building the famous Hudy steel isn't that good anymore, eg building the drive shafts they now feel like there plated and the pins are hard to fit, my latest XB4-15 opened the kit, found the usual rear wishbone block is made wrong, there are two rear diff cases, so now can't build my kit, kinda frustrating as I am British and live in Saudi Arabia so can't just pop the model store for spares.

I have thought about this for about a year now, and about six new kits but there all the same the quality is going down.

X-Ray please reply to with some realistic solutions to the problems

I suggest you will contact your hobby shop where you have purchased the kit and who will send the correct parts to you.

I have contacted X-ray direct and up to now and two emails later still no reply.
I purchased the kit in China while visiting family, now I live in Saudi there are no local suppliers this is the reason for my comments on here, just trying to get a reply.

so how will X-ray now fix its issues,

Rob, we have answered your email with the same points, you should get it. As I have mentioned we are under process of setting up a distribution center in Middle East as well, so in a short time you will be also able to get the products locally. The service & support is always provided via our distibution network which is also why we always suggest customers to purchase the product locally so they can get after sales service as well. Unfortunately in this case when you have moved away there is not much we can do especially if there is no official shop in the area.

Concerning the suspension holders, those are under free replacement program, so you need to contact the distributor from country where you purchased it, they already got the correct replacements. Sorry for the wrong packaged bulkheads, unfortunately the kits are packaged by humans and sometimes mistakes happen, for this reason we include the small paper with the name who packaged the bag so we can continue to improve the packaging. Please contact your distributor who will arrange you replacement.

Concerning the no good Hudy Spring Steel parts I am not sure what do you mean exactly. Every batch is individually inspected and meassured for hardness and other specs and therefore your drive shafts should perform and last as long as usuall. I do not understand what do you mean that the pins are hard to fit, please email us a photo with the particular problem so we can inspect on that.
