5 to like: 1. Durability 2. Very easy access to diffs 3. Transmission is solid 4. Alu&composite chassis 5. Ballcups stay on for long time 5 to improve: 1. Longer wheelbase to improve rear grip when coming out of corners (XB4 is 5-8mm shorter than for example B44.2) 2. Stronger and more flexible wing posts 3. Full length top deck to avoid alu chassis bending 4. Less slop between diff and diff cover 5. Less slop between piston and the shock body - oils flows past the piston holes. I'm still waiting for yellow wheels (DE Racing ones are softer and not so durable) |

what i love on the buggy: Geared diffs Chassis flex system quality of parts in standard kit progressive spring set (option but made a real difference to handling for me) Easy to work on some neg stuff: Plastic crown and pinion gears wear to quick under load - please have an option metal gear set as with the diff gears Battery posts to low, need to be higher or adjustable for the bigger capacity lipos no places to place extra weight at front or rear of chassis. Would be great to have option to do this with xray brass bits No transponder holder - servo tap works but not that neat Options to run non xray wheels - i think there is something now but not sure if this is an xray option or 3rd party |

A support for the fan and a modify for the body to increase the cooling A plate where you can fix the electronic. I already made it Long upperdeck (already producted by Yaiba) Metal gears for differentials 12mm hex. I used the 12 from my T3R in front and 12mm from CEN rear, with some spacers between dish and nut, So I can use also economic tyres when I just play |

Good Top spec out the box - no "essential upgrades" required to strengthen the car for racing Easy to work on the car Plenty of room for electrics Upgrade Kit addressed issues with kit quickly and was free diff oil supplied in the kit Bad Cost of parts is a bit much.... £5.99 for 1 arm is expensive compared to other brands extra adjustment holes on shock towers. 3rd parties are now producing these Leaky shocks with an extra cost to fix. plastic shock caps leaked very badly Metal diff gears internal and external Full length top deck |

My responses would be like many above have already mentioned: The Good: Quality build - the thing is a tank! Quality plastics Spring steel CVD's and outdrives Room for electronics & easy to work on, like said above Good looking body! The Bad: Moulded pistons are sloppy Shock bushings & pistons are not machined Shocks are not "keyed" so one can grip them - TLR uses a nice tool Leaky shock caps Aluminum Vent caps are nearly the price of complete replacement shock sets from TLR! Parts are fairly expensive - then again I have not broken anything yet. Wing mounts could be made more flexable Full length top deck for carpet racing |
