I have heard of aluminum shock caps being released. Any truth to this rumor? Seams my stock ones loosen after a few runs.

Put a very very small amount of lock tight on the thread. That's what I did and that very very very small amount if enough where it will not loosen and you stil can take them off for rebuild

Hi all as this seems to be a fault with the parts :cry: I was wondering what Xray is doing to sort this issue as I am planning on buying an XB4 :D but find it unfair that you need to buy 2 packs of the following XR368051 - ALU SHOCK CAP-NUT WITH VENT HOLE to fix the problem with leaking shocks

XRAY now offers the #970120 O-Ring 12x1.0 (10) that you can fit into the composite shock upper cap to prevent the shocks from leaking.

We haven't had any issues with leaking either after 3 months of practice, 3 races and countless rebuilds for tuning purposes.

Nevertheless I ordered and received the aluminum shock caps last week.

They are really nice, much sleeker and comes with an o-ring for the cap :wink:

Need some help please.
12 x 1 mm O’ring's for the shock caps.

Can some please explain or post a pic’s on how they fit Please.
As they don't seem to fit inside the shock cap O/D 100%.......
