Hi guys, I picked up my brand new XB4 on thursday, built it overnight and raced on friday night in only my second ever off-road meeting. finished 7th in the A main in 4wd buggy stock (17.5t blinky) at a championships night, not too bad I guess. One thing that bothers me is the hex hubs and the spur gears, now I know I can get away with modifying an AE spur to get the ration I need, but the 14mm hex hubs limit me to only using the xray wheels. however I threw on a set of tamiya 12mm hex hubs (5mm thick) and bought some AKA hexlite wheels, they fit well and dont effect the track width at all! but the rear stud does stick out a further 3mm from the nut. |

Hello, the wheel hubs are compatible to Durango wheels, eg. the DE Racing Borgegos for the DEX410. best regards |

Some info about wheels http://www.rctech.net/forum/11576724-post470.html http://www.rctech.net/forum/11577509-post477.html So you can use Durango / De Racing wheels for DEX410 V3. But remember, you have to make hole larger - it is below 5mm with those Durango&DE wheels as standard, but with the XB4 it has to be >5mm (about 5,1-5,2mm would be fine). Xray rear axle is larger than in Durango car. That is the reason. |
